In Bollywood, older actresses often don’t get sufficient opportunities after a point. But Sridevi has proved to be an exception. The actress has been working in some fabulous films though the gap between her movies is quite a lot. Yet, she is considered to be one of the most prominent actresses of Bollywood and that’s a feat, considering that she’s 54 years old.
Like any other popular actress, Sridevi is also not left far behind in the endorsement bandwagon. Recently, she became the brand ambassador of ‘Ching’s Secret Masalas’. Three of her ads were unveiled last week and it has grabbed the attention. All three ads are made on similar lines and feature double roles of this talented actress. One avatar remains constant in all the three ads. The other roles played by the actress are Anju ben from Gujarat, Dolly Dhingra from Tarn Taran, Punjab and Shakuntala Devi from Patna. The banter between the two Sridevi’s and the way the product also gets promoted makes for a nice watch.
‘Ching’s Secret Masalas’ is a manufactured by Ching’ Secret, an Indian brand of Desi Chinese, owned by the corporation Capital Foods. Earlier, Ranveer Singh had endorsed Ching’s Secret and shot two songs for it which became highly famous. Saqib Saleem too has endorsed a product of Ching’s Secret.
On the film front, Sridevi was last seen in Mom, produced by hubby Boney Kapoor. It co-starred Akshaye Khanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali.
