Today marks the World Environment Day where we all pledge together as a nation to contribute to measures that will help save planet Earth. From passing on messages on social media to extending their support in plantation drive and other initiatives, many celebs have come forth to request their fans and followers to help in any campaign that will save the environment. Amongst them are also many television celebrities like Tera Mera Saath Rahe fame Mohammad Nazim, Kundali Bhagya fame Manit Joura, popular actress Nisha Rawal, and actor Siddharth Nigam who recently signed the Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, have shared details on their environment-friendly practices.

Mohammad Nazim
On World Environment Day, I would work toward making a greener planet. Would plant more of plants , which I always do and would suggest all the people around to do the same not only on the environmental day but whole year. Each of our contributions matters.

Manit Joura
The biggest issues our environment faces is Climate change, air pollution, water scarcity. Practising sustainable living and doing our bit for the environment would be helpful to us. Our small efforts do matter. Hence we should take out time for this as it's important to keep our environment healthy.

Nisha Rawal
As a mother , I keep on teaching my son Kavish about how it is important to keep the environment safe and healthy. I do explain him things which are important to be done and are possible for him to do it like planting trees , switching off the lights when not needed , the importance of saving electricity, etc. I feel we should educate our younger generation so that in future they know what is to done and why is it to be done.

Siddharth Nigam
We all should pledge to restore ecosystems that are on the verge of further degradation. Let's strive to make our planet greener by the day. It's not yours, nor is it mine, It's ours, so let’s protect it.
