Who Wore It Better? Kriti Kharbanda or Tamannaah Bhatia in the same shocking pink ensemble!

The now fashion-aware Bollywood is a representation of their fashion stylists. Right from playing muse to high end, low end, classic labels to promoting up and coming home-grown brands, we marvel at the sheer awesomeness of these celebrities. They go on to slay varied chapters of style like casual, contemporary, ethnic, quirky and red carpet. Fashion designers incept creations; fashion stylists promote these creations through the tinsel town stars who in turn flaunt the styles through their numerous appearances for movie promotions, brand endorsement and other appearances. As fine representations of their fashion stylists which result in some of the finest fashion moments, they also lead to malfunctions or more commonly, fashion face-offs. Our roving fashion eye caught the tinsel town divas Kriti Kharbanda and Tamannaah Bhatia in a fashion face-off. The ensemble in question is the bright pink suit from Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. The suit is a studded hot pink silk pantsuit with a bustier that is hand embroidered with 3D metal work and thread work roses. While Tamannaah Bhatia flaunted her svelte frame in the said suit recently – a similar look that was done to perfection by Kriti Kharbanda in June this year.

While Kriti Kharbanda’s off-screen sense of style play borders on chic, fuss-free and occasionally edgy vibes, Tamanaah Bhatia’s style play is uncannily similar and stunning to say the least. Here is a closer look at who nailed the snazzy ensemble the best.

Fashion Faceoff – Kriti Kharbanda

Styled by Rochelle D’Sa and Anisha Gandhi, Kriti attended a store opening in Pune wearing the suit with strappy open-toed sandals.

Nude pink lips, bold eyebrows and a pulled back low ponytail, courtesy makeup and hairstylist Heema Dattani rounded out her look.

Fashion Faceoff – Tamannaah Bhatia

Styled by Esha Amiin, Tamannaah attended the store launch of Happi mobiles in Bheemavaram wearing the suit with metallic strappy sandals. Makeup artist Aparnah Mitter gave her a subtle makeup while hairstylist Tina Mukharjee gave Tamannaah a wavy hairdo.

Bollywood Hungama Style Take – Kriti Kharbanda or Tamannaah Bhatia?

We concede that the bright pink coloured and studded ensemble isn’t easy to pull off! Kriti allowed the rich coloured separates to take centre-stage with simple makeup and hairdo.

Tamannaah’s metallic strappy sandals and wavy hair left open pale in comparison. While Kriti had sported this look in June, Tamannaah’s repetition of the same look after such a long time could well be her stylist’s fault!

We personally loved Kriti Kharbanda’s interpretation of the look than Tamannaah’s!
