She made an entry in Bollywood as a child artist in the 1983 movie Masoom starring Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin Shah.

It was directed by Shekhar Kapur and won Filmfare awards for Best Film Critics, Best Actor, Best Music Director, Best Lyricist, and Best Female Playback Singer. Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda had also wished Naseeruddin on his birthday and expressed the actor's impact on his acting career. The 71-year-old superstar will next be seen in Dhruv Lather's Maarrich and Anant Mahadevan's The Storyteller.
