What Bollywood actresses will wear at Cannes this year!

The most awaited film festival of all - Cannes International Film Festival - is back with its sizzle and its big box of surprises. And all the devotees out there are just dying with anticipation as they cross their fingers to know what their favourite celebrity will don this year? This year will also see many Bollywood actresses walking the red carpet at Cannes. So we decided to find out what our B-town actress will be wearing this year at the prestigious event.

Ameesha Patel

B-town babe Ameesha Patel will be walking the red carpet in a desi avatar, since she is representing the country on a global platform. And keeping in mind her complexion and personality as well as the summer trends internationally, star designer Manish Malhotra has decided to give her something very chic and Indian. Black and white, being classic colors, is incorporated in the diva's attire, which is high on Kashmiri and 'chikankari' work.

"I think nothing looks better on an Indian woman than a 'sari' or 'lehenga'," stated Ameesha.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

As expected yummy mommy Aishwarya will be seen on the red carpet with father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan as well as Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. Ditching her usual designer gowns, she has planned to groom in designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla trademark off-white sari with chikankari work, antique gold embroidery and instead of her common dark colors, a classic beige and cream churidar-kurta.

The Bombshell is going pastel this year.

Vidya Balan

Newly married Vidya Balan has been appointed as a member on the Jury of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival with Hollywood biggies Ang Lee, Steven Spielberg and Nicole Kidman. She is not at all fussy when it comes to clothes and like always will make a fashion statement with her Sabyasachi Mukherjee sari.

"I am not thinking so much of my wardrobe, I see myself in a sari even when I am sleeping. So you will see me in a sari at Cannes," she assured.

Sonam Kapoor

Fashionista Sonam Kapoor will walk the red carpet along with her fellow L'Oreal ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Frieda Pinto with the beauty brand's new sunset look. The beauty queen has six options of what make-up and hair she might go for, out of which two looks will be selected for her red carpet appearance.

"There are always two events and usually I wear one Indian outfit, I always make it a point. I wore Masaba the first year, then I wore Anamika second year and even this year I will wear one Indian outfit for sure or may be more," she added.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto has more often than not chosen to go with a western style. But this year it's going to be different. As Pinto represents India, it is likely that she will hit the red carpet in Indian style.

Nandita Das

Nandita Das has also been chosen to be a part of a separate jury for short films. Das will probably repeat her sari trend.
