Fashion may well be described as an initiation of change through clothes. Some of the sartorial tinsel town have picked out the vibe of minimalism and as agents of change; they have been channelling it to the hilt through their numerous appearances. This week, B-town A-listers who shined the brightest with their snazzy ensembles included Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Vaani Kapoor. While Deepika, Kareena, Karisma and Sidharth abided by the trusty monochrome, Kangana Rananut got into a striped style play and Vaani Kapoor went down the floral way. All in all, they stuck to being minimalist best and allowed their key styles to take centre-stage.

Styled by Shaleena Nathani for the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2018, Deepika flaunted a Falguni and Shane Peacock white gown featuring a dangerous plunge, balloon sleeves, a metallic belt and a trail. She topped off the look with a side-parted slick hairdo, courtesy hairstylist Gabriel Georgiou and a minimal makeup that accentuated her doe-shaped eyes and nude pink lips, courtesy makeup artist, Anil C. Flaunting décolletage with that stunning plunge, Deepika aced the red carpet sartorial vibe allowing her dress to take centre stage. Kangana Ranaut

Styled by Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, Kangana attended an event in Jaipur wearing a navy and white striped dress from Michael by Michael Kors featuring a round neck and long sleeves and clasped with a belt at the waist. Pointy ankle boots, dark eyes, nude lips and signature curls rounded out her look. Getting the eternal stripes just right with this look, Kangana added a classic look to her sartorial book of style. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Styled by Tanya Ghavri for the India Today Conclave 2018, Kareena donned a Prabal Gurung creation featuring an ivory twill crepe tailored blazer with ruffle sleeve and the ivory twill crepe bootleg pant. Black pointy toes, a statement ring, loose low back bun along with a subtle makeup of nude lips, dark eyes and faintly blushed cheeks, courtesy makeup and hairstylist Subbu rounded out her look. Oozing a fiercely feminine vibe, Kareena owned the pantsuit like a complete boss in a refreshing ivory colour at a platform where she interacted with Hillary Clinton – the trendsetter of the sassy pantsuit! Karisma Kapoor

For the India Today Conclave 2018, Karisma who was styled by Tanya Ghavri opted for a monochrome pencil fit dress from Sachin & Babi teamed with Paul Andrew black pointy toed heels. Studs from Jet Gems, a subtle makeup of bright lips, lined eyes, defined eyebrows and a sleek low-back pony rounded out her look. A simple but significant look, Karisma nailed the minimalist vibe to the T.

Sidharth Malhotra

For the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards 2018, Sidharth Malhotra who was styled by Akshay Tyagi of Style Cell donned a Gaurav Gupta suit featuring high-neck white shirt and topped off the look with brown studded loafers. Upping the game with a twist to the classic monochrome vibe, Sidharth kept things slick and sharp on the top and fun with those shoes. Vaani Kapoor

Styled by Mohit Rai, Vaani Kapoor flaunted a collared floral Hemant and Nandita asymmetrical dress at the store launch of the Brazillian footwear brand, Melissa in the capital and teamed it with millennial pink wedges from the brand. A subtle makeup of pink lips, blushed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones, defined eyes and eyebrows along with side-parted loose waves topped off her look, courtesy hair and makeup artist Marianna Mukuchyan. Florals are all about having fun and Vaani quite aptly embraced the joy and romance of spring with the minimal chic dress.
