Today, Namastey London has completed 19 years, and the makers celebrated the occasion with a beautiful video.
Taking to social media, the makers of Namastey London shared a video compiling some beautiful glimpses from the film, which serves as a nostalgic treat on its 19th anniversary. Released in 2007, Namastey London starred Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Nina Wadia, Javed Sheikh, and Upen Patel. With such an ensemble cast, the film presented a different love story that still holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. The film was co-produced by Aashin A Shah.
Apart from its relatable story, the film also featured a hit music album, consisting of songs like ‘Chakna Chakna’, ‘Viraaniya’, ‘Main Jahaan Rahoon’, ‘Yahi Hota Pyaar’, and ‘Rafta Rafta’. The film further showcased an impressive on-screen chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
Namastey London was also a box office success, becoming the ninth-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2007.
