The wedding of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna continues to make headlines, and now Shree Jewellers has opened up about designing the bespoke jewellery that defined the couple’s regal wedding look. In a conversation with NDTV, the jewellery house shared exclusive details about the craftsmanship, symbolism and months-long process behind the ornate creations.
Speaking about the experience, Shree Jewellers said, “We have always admired Rashmika and Vijay for their craft, but to know them personally and be a part of their magical day was truly special. They are wonderful human beings, and being entrusted with such an intimate celebration is something we will always cherish. Like the rest of the country, we are still taking it all in.”
Vijay Deverakonda’s jewellery introduced a striking narrative around groom ornamentation. He wore a statement snake-chain necklace layered with a longer temple-style piece featuring embossed motifs. His accessories included classic gold stud earrings, golden kada-style bracelets, a “warrior-like” gold-drenched handcuff, his diamond engagement ring and a traditional gold ring worn during the ceremony. On Vijay’s look, they added, “Vijay Deverakonda's jewellery introduced a strong narrative around ornate groom styling, a space still relatively understated in Indian weddings."

"Channelling the authority of a mythic king, his ceremonial pieces incorporated elephant motifs symbolising wisdom and tiger elements representing agility, balanced with refined floral patterns inspired by traditional inlay work. Deep Nakshi engraving created dimensionality, while braided textures and Rava detailing added sculptural weight.” "In an evolving wedding landscape where men's jewellery is gaining momentum, this look marked a confident departure from minimal groom styling and welcomed ornamentation as strength," they noted.
Rashmika Mandanna’s look was rooted in traditional South Indian temple aesthetics. She wore a structured temple choker placed high on the collarbone, featuring Lakshmi motifs and hand-carved granulation work. The choker was layered with graduated kasu malas (gold coin necklaces) and long mango-design chains, creating a rich, cascading effect.
Her accessories included golden-chained jhumkas attached to her hair, a maang tikka and an additional forehead ornament. For her hands and waist, she chose a gold waist belt to secure her saree pleats, antique-style armlets (elbow cuffs) with delicate beaded chains, and a floral-motif hath phool. Her wrists were adorned with stacked golden bangles and kadas—some heirlooms gifted by the groom’s family—alongside her round diamond engagement ring.

Detailing the craftsmanship, the brand shared, "The collection featured high-relief Nakshi work and intricate Rava granulation, each detail hand-fused by master artisans," adding, "Finished in an antique matte polish, the creations carried a rich, heritage-inspired glow, crafted to move seamlessly with her silhouette. The intention was not just adornment, but permanence - jewellery conceived as legacy pieces meant to transcend generations,"
Explaining the larger vision, Shree Jewellers stated, "We drew deep inspiration from the grandeur of South Indian architecture that so beautifully defines the culture. Rashmika's bridal look was envisioned around the aura of a living Goddess, while Vijay's ensemble embodied the presence of a sovereign King,"
Revealing the timeline, they concluded, "The entire journey spanned 10 months - from conceptualising the design and engaging in multiple discussions, to bespoke customisation, production, trials, and finally bringing the complete look to life,"
