Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna tied the knot on February 26 in a traditional yet lavish and intimate ceremony at Mementos by ITC in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The wedding, attended by close family and friends, blended grandeur with warmth, as the couple marked the beginning of their new journey together.
Soon after the ceremony, both Vijay and Rashmika shared emotional posts on social media, celebrating their love and expressing excitement for the future. As the pictures went viral, members of the Indian film industry across Bollywood and the South film fraternity flooded social media with congratulatory messages. Among those who shared their wishes were Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nani, Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Keerthy Suresh and Ashika Ranganath, among others.
Kajal Aggarwal congratulated the couple in the comments section and also reposted their pictures on her Instagram story. She wrote, “Big Congratulations Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has previously shared screen space with Vijay Deverakonda, reposted one of the couple’s wedding photos on Instagram and wrote a simple, “Congratulations.”
Keerthy Suresh, who is set to play the leading lady opposite Vijay in an upcoming project, also shared a story that read, “Congratulations guys… Here’s wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness”. Today, my brother is married, and I’ve gained the most positive and compassionate person as my Vadina. I pray that for the rest of their lives, they continue to smile just like this.
