Actor Parineeti Chopra has offered fans a heartwarming glimpse into the thoughtfully designed nursery of her son Neer, whom she welcomed with husband Raghav Chadha. The space reflects a serene and sophisticated aesthetic, built around a calming palette of creams, whites and soft blues.
The nursery exudes a timeless charm with classic blue-and-white striped wallpaper complemented by elegant white wainscoting. The design strikes a delicate balance between minimalism and warmth. A white wooden crib, styled with a whimsical animal mobile, forms the centrepiece of the room. Matching it is an arched cupboard featuring natural cane panelling, adding texture to the otherwise soft-toned interiors.
Comfort has clearly been prioritised. A plush white rocking chair and a cozy sofa create inviting seating corners, while framed vintage car illustrations lend a playful, personalised touch. Embroidered pillows and quilts bearing the name “Neer” further enhance the intimate atmosphere. The overall space feels airy, organised and deeply tranquil — designed as much for the parents as for the newborn.
Sharing her vision behind the nursery, Parineeti wrote, “Our little sanctuary for Neer… As first time parents, we wanted our nursery to feel calm and meditative from the moment you walked in. Soft sunlight, cool breeze, gentle tones, and a quiet, classic aesthetic that feels true to the both of us. We never wanted it loud or filled with too many shades for the initial months of Postpartum. Colours and chaos should come after 2 months”.
She continued, “For the initial days - just warmth, healing energy, and a space where the three of us could simply be together. Calm bhajans playing in the background, soft breeze from the window enveloping us - our idea of love. (with a view to die for!) I cannot move forward without thanking those who brought this to life… Firstly, our fairy godmother - thank you for arranging the most beautiful crib, wardrobe, chest and wallpaper for our little baby. You made this process so easy, and so fun. You are truly a gem”. She also expressed gratitude to the designers who helped transform the vision into reality before signing off.
