Vijay Deverakonda seems to be winning hearts of not just fans across the country but also the media. The actor is currently travelling across India to promote his forthcoming film Liger and just like many other actors, Vijay couldn’t stop himself from exploring the local cuisine. The South star decided to try out the quintessential thali in the state and needless to say, the happiness on his face was priceless.

Many actors, who visit Gujarat, have often tried out the authentic and traditional Gujarati Thali which includes over 20 dishes. The one that Vijay Deverakonda was seen trying included about 17 types of curries, dal, and vegetable dishes along with four variety of sweets including gulab jamun. It also included Rice, chapatti, poori and some of their famous snacks like khaman and patra. The actor posted the photo of him sitting in front of the Thaali on Instagram and captioned it saying, “The great Gujarati Thaaliii! ????”

Obviously, the post received many heart emojis from his female fans. While some were curious to know how he liked the thali, a few others appreciated the Gujarati cuisine. On the other hand, before this, Vijay also shared another video which was a sneak peek into the happenings of his the promotions in Bihar for his film.

Vijay Deverakonda will be making his Bollywood debut with Liger, which also stars Ananya Panday. While it is directed by renowned South filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, it is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film, that will also feature American boxing legend Mike Tyson in a pivotal role, is slated to release on August 25 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
