Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s advise to young filmmakers, “You should be able to fall in love with the script” : Bollywood News

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is currently basking in the success of his last release 12^th Fail, which starred Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr in lead roles. The film was based on the life of the real IPS (Indian Police Service) office Manoj Kumar Sharma. It became one of the biggest triumphs of last year and its success story continued this year as well even after its OTT release.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s advise to young filmmakers, “You should be able to fall in love with the script”

In his recent interaction with the young inspiring filmmakers from the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Vidhu Vinod Chopra spoke about the importance of having a good script for making a good film. He said, “The script should be talking to you. You should be able to fall in love with it. And ask yourself if you love that idea enough to tell the world.”

Chopra also hinted towards him liking and falling in love with his upcoming project, the idea of which he really liked. One being the relationship of a servant and his master. He loves the idea enough to tell the world.

Apart from this, Vidhu Vinod Chopra also gave a tip to the young filmmakers saying, “Each one of them should have their own idea. The most important thing here is that whatever you want to tell the world, which may be very different in each case, that is what they should try and narrate. First of all, discover and find within yourself that what is it, that you want to tell the world, and then say it in all honesty. While you connect your personal experiences to it.”
