A sequel to the film titled Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 will be releasing next month.

Back in 2010, filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee and producer Ektaa R Kapoor stunned the audience when they revealed the name of their upcoming film as Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Later on, the content of the film too took the audience by a bold surprise. Such a film being made by a mainstream production house was unheard of back then.

Interestingly, the movie starred actors that were unknown then but they later on became known stars.

As Love Sex Aur Dhokha turns 14 today, here's looking back at the known actors from the film who were newcomers back then.

Rajkummar Rao:

Today, Rajkummar Rao is known as one of the finest performers and a reliable name. But when Love Sex Aur Dhokha had released, in which he played Adarsh, he was unknown. Before this movie, he played a cameo of a news anchor in Ram Gopal Varma’s Amitabh Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Rann but went relatively unnoticed. In the later years, he got known for films like Ragini MMS, Shaitan, Gangs Of Wasseypur, Shahid, etc.

Nushrratt Bharuccha:

Nushrratt Bharuccha acquired fame after starring in the movies from Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise with Kartik Aaryan and later with Chhorii. But before that, she acted in a few films. One of them was Love Sex Aur Dhokha, where she played the character of Shruti Dahiya. The actress was last seen in Akelli last year.

Anshuman Jha:

Love Sex Aur Dhokha was the debut launch for Anshuman Jha. He was a completely new name back then. He played the character of Rahul Kumar in the movie. Today, he has more than 20 projects to his name. He is known the most for his last outing Lakadbaggha. The sequel of the movie is also in the works. He is also making his directorial debut with Lord Curzon Ki Haweli.

Amit Sial:

Today, Amit Sial has a strong body of work in web projects like Rangbaaz, Hostages, Mirzapur, Inside Edge, A Simple Murder, Jamtara, Qala, Kathmandu Connection, Maharani, etc. But he only had Hope And A Little Sugar when he starred in Love Sex Aur Dhokha, where he played the character of Prabhat.

Neha Chauhan:

Like Anshuman Jha, Neha Chauhan was also launched in the world of entertainment with Love Sex Aur Dokha, where she played one of the pivotal characters of Rashmi. Following this movie, she has acted in some popular web projects like It’s Not That Simple, Inside Edge, Kaagaz and Maharani. But the role that gave her the maximum recognition was in Rocket Boys.

Interestingly, Dibakar and Ektaa R Kapoor are now ready with the sequel of the movie titled Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2. It will exactly a month later on April 19.
