Ever since Alia Bhatt launched her own Youtube channel, the fans have been getting a glimpse of her lifestyle beyond her career. The actress gave a tour of her new house, her filming schedules and of course the Kenyan safari. Since most of her work involves her to be all set for paparazzi, the actress gave a peek into what goes on behind the scenes to create a look.

This time, it’s the behind-the-scenes clip of her look from IIFA Awards 2019. The video starts with Alia Bhatt introducing her glam team to the audience - celebrity makeup artiste Puneet B Saini, her assistant Fauri and hair stylist Yianni. “Since the look is for an award function, it has to be more elaborate,” Alia says. She had opted for two dresses by designer Georges Chakra, one pink and the other nude. Everyone voted for nude one which she wore to the awards ceremony.

Then, Puneet goes on to explain why she is opting for a warmer tone for the makeup. “I wanted the skin to look like it’s sunlit. As for the eyes, we are going to go for the metallic but leaning towards the warmer palette. We are also going to go for minimal colour for the mouth so that it’s highlighted but not too separate from the entire look.” Yiani said she has a lot of volume, they would make two different braids to create an elegant hairdo. All in all, the look turned out to perfect as she got ready to glam shots before heading to the ceremony.

At the IIFA Awards 2019, Alia Bhatt bagged Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) for Raazi. On the work front, she is currently shooting for Sadak 2, directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt and co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooa Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. She will be next seen with Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji-directorial Brahmastra. She also has Arunima Sinha biopic and Karan Johar’s Takht.
