Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who sustained an arm injury during the filming of his upcoming movie Chhava, is gearing up to return to the set. Recent reports indicate that the actor will resume shooting for Chhava from March 9th, marking his comeback after a brief hiatus due to the injury.
According to ETimes, the production team has already restarted shooting for the period drama in Wai and Bhor since February 28. Kaushal, who took nearly twenty days off to recuperate, is set to join the team with renewed vigour and enthusiasm. Director Laxman Utekar has reportedly confirmed Kaushal's return to the set.
Chhava also features Rashmika Mandanna in a significant role, and the actress recently wrapped up her portions for the film. Vicky portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. Expressing her gratitude towards the director, producer, and the entire team, Mandanna penned a heartfelt note after concluding her shoot.
The film Chhava has generated considerable buzz among audiences, primarily due to its star-studded cast and intriguing storyline. With Kaushal's return to the set, fans eagerly anticipate updates and glimpses from the sets as the project moves closer to completion.
The actor is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated project, Love and War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
