For the unversed, the veteran singer found himself as the centre of a controversy when a video of him kissing his fan on the lips went viral. While the singer attempted to defend the same, social media continues to bash and call him out for the behavior. Meanwhile, this video of paps requesting him for a kiss too has taken social media by storm.

A Reddit user posted this video of Udit Narayan on the red carpet of The Roshans success bash where as he poses, members from the paparazzi team are seen saying, “Ek Kiss Ho Jaye (Let’s Have a Kiss)” to the singer. While he laughed off, the video once again grabbed attention of the netizens who too have reacted to the same and have also dropped comments on it. One of them wrote, “It's all fun and games till Udit grabs the Pap and fulfils his wish” and also shared a GIF of Udit opening his arms with a comment that reads, ‘Mazaa Aa Gaya’. “Udit ji be like “kiss kiss ko pyaar karu?!?!”, said another user. “I almost thought he was going to grab someone on his way out”, “That lady looked worried that he might just suddenly attack her with a kiss on his way in!!” were some of the other comments.

In an earlier interview which was published on Bollywood Hungama, the singer reacted to the controversy, insisting that it was only him reciprocating his love towards his fans. “There is a deep pure and unbreakable bond between my fans and I. What you saw in the so-called scandalous video was a manifestation of the love between my fans and I. They love me. I love them back even more,” the singer said. He also clarified on his intentions asserting, “It is not something sleazy or secret. It is there in the public domain. My heart is pure. If some people want to see something dirty in my act of pure affection, then I feel sorry for them. I also want to thank them.”
