Twinkle Khanna recalls the time she tried to kick Saif Ali Khan but ended up hurting herself; Kareena Kapoor calls them ‘childish’ : Bollywood News

Twinkle Khanna recently had a chat with Kareena Kapoor Khan about movies and their personal lives and recalled some great stories from the past. During the conversation, Twinkle Khanna narrated a story when she was so annoyed at Saif Ali Khan that she tried to kick him but ended up hurting herself.

Talking about working with Saif Ali Khan, Twinkle narrated an incident. "I have worked with him. I think I did two movies with him which turned out to be three because we re-shot an entire movie. It was not a reshoot like this is not working so let's reshoot it. It was the whole movie, with a new script, we had new names," she said.

"I remember we were working somewhere and I got very irritated with him (Saif Ali Khan) and I don't know why. We were also slightly competitive; we had this whole intellectual snob thing going on. So, I tried to kick him and I missed and I kicked an iron railing and my foot started swelling up and he was laughing like an ass," she added.

Hearing this Kareena Kapoor says, "I think y’all were quite childish at that time. That 90s time most of y’all I feel from the stories I have heard."

Responding to it, Twinkle reasoned, "We were very young, badly dressed, we had no scripts and we had no dialogues, what were we meant to do".

Twinkle and Saif first shared screen in the 1996 film Dil Tera Diwana directed by Lawrence D'Souza. They were late seen sharing screen in Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan (1999) and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001).
