Ashutosh Gowariker, who has worked with some prominent actors, made you feel patriotic with a unique film like Swades. It featured Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist who works for NASA and pays a visit to India only to find a new purpose of life in a village. The film that resonated with many NRIs turned out to be one of the cults from the house of Gowarikers. And we recently caught hold of a BTS picture of the film.
In this Behind-The-Scenes picture, Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a playful mood and turns director on the sets of the film. The actor is seen holding the camera as he attempts to shoot his director Ashutosh Gowariker. The film was shot extensively against the backdrop of rural areas in the country.
Speaking about the film, Shah Rukh Khan has only acted in one directorial of Ashutosh Gowariker. Swades also marked the debut of model turned actress Gayatri Joshi who quit the industry after this film post marriage.
Coming to Shah Rukh Khan, the actor, who was last seen in Zero, is yet to announce his next Bollywood project. On the other hand, Ashutosh Gowariker is busy with his magnum opus Panipat that revolves around the famous battle of Panipat and it stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
