Finally, Tamannaah Bhatia has a lot to cheer about. If she had to take the 80s route in Himmatwala with costumes and hairdo belonging to the era gone by, there wasn’t much of her on display in Humshakals where she had a minimal role, as was the case with the other leading ladies in the film. However, with a much larger part to play in just released Entertainment, Tamannaah has managed to showcase her glamour quotient, especially with quite a few song and dance sequences allowing her to experiment with different looks and much more contemporary presentation.
“I guess ‘Johny Johny‘ has done the trick,” exclaims Tamannaah, who now has a quintessential dance chartbuster to her name now, “It has been highly appreciated and I am glad to be receiving compliments about my look and presentation ever since the song went on air. Also, despite this being a situational song, it has its own charm and placement in the film’s narrative.”
In this beach song, Tamannaah appears in a much trendy avtar, hence bringing herself well into the space of glam girls making their presence felt in Bollywood.
“All credit to my stylist Ayesha for this,” Tamannaah is quick to acknowledge here, “She was very positive in getting my look right. Also, I got a lot of freedom to perform in the way I wanted. When you get that sort of comfort feel from the people you are working with, you tend to surprise even yourself. This is what I loved most about Entertainment.”
