In the same spirit, Sushant Singh Rajput brings forward in this video an untold story of Vishwas Shinde, a 12 year old from Ratnagiri district who loses his listening abilities after an acute attack of mumps. Vishwas had to discontinue his studies as his parents couldn’t afford his education. Well, the young man had lady luck on his side as he was helped monetarily by the teachers of his school to see his education through.
Vishwas, in the true style of a champion, not only went on to score 80% in the SSC exams, but was also able to secure a seat in an engineering college. But things weren’t easy for him as he battled with deafness and paid for his engineering education fees with his petty financial resources.
Ultimately, fate had better things in store for Vishwas when the CSR partner of Finolex Industries, Mukul Madhav Foundation, lent a helping hand. They helped him with not just getting a Cochlear Implant but also in securing a scholarship to complete his engineering education. Today, Vishwas has got back his earing abilities and made his way to the final year of engineering education. The word “Incredible” sums up his journey well.
What touches the heart in this story is the strong support provided by Mukul Madhav Foundation, the CSR partner of Finolex Industries Ltd in helping restore Vishwas’ hearing abilities.
Just as the movie M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story captures the inspirational journey of a boy from a small town who goes on to become the captain of the Indian cricket team, the journey of Vishwas as revealed by Sushant is no less extraordinary in our opinion.
