Hailing from the Bollywood family, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan have been always been thick friends. With Suhana settled abroad, Shanaya taking her first step towards Bollywood, the duo are quite proud of the fact that Ananya has bagged her first debut which has hit the big screens today. Starring Tiger Shroff and another debutant, Tara Sutaria, Student Of The Year 2 marks the entry of Ananya Panday as an actress in Bollywood. On the day of the release, bestie Shanaya wanted to wish her bestie all the luck and what better way than penning a heartfelt note!
Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor shared a picture of the note written by Shanaya Kapoor on her Instagram profile. Posting a picture of her whole heartedly laughing with Ananya Panday during some pool fun, Shanaya had the sweetest words for her Student Of The Year 2 star. “I cannot believe that this day has come, I’m crying while writing this post because it feels so surreal. We’ve grown up dreaming together, wishing together, working together, and today your journey has started.”[sic]
She went on to add, “We’ve spoken about this since the day we could just about talk and I’m so happy that this moment has finally come and everyone’s going to see you on the big screen. From going to gaiety galaxy to watch Agneepath together to watching movies every Friday without fail together, to dancing to every Bollywood song at every club together, your day into our favourite dream world has come my Anne. I know how hard you’ve worked for this and you truly deserve all the happiness and success the world has to offer. The most special day, my superstar’s entry. I love you.” [sic]. Directed by Punit Malhotra, Student Of The Year 2 is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster that launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in this industry. The film, however, has a completely different plotline. Produced by Karan Johar, it hit the big screens on May 10.
