We have seen her at many award galas and of course, the prestigious Cannes Film Festival year after year, as she walks the red carpet with panache and poise. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s appearances have been graceful and composed and rarely have we seen the actress’ let her hair down especially during a media meet. But did you know we got to see a different side of this former beauty queen at an award gala two years ago.

We are talking about the 2015 Stardust Awards. This award function saw the father-in-law and daughter-in-law pair sweeping awards for their performance in Piku and Jazbaa respectively. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was thrilled with her win, was seen interacting with the media when Amitabh Bachchan walked in and the actress excitedly welcomed him.

While she jumped around like a child, she enthusiastically said out loud that he is the best. A visibly embarrassed Amitabh however tried to calm the excited Aishwarya by saying, “Stop behaving like Aaradhya.” Responding to his comment, the actress adorably tickled her father-in-law’s beard saying, “So I get to do this now.”

Well, this is the kind of fun banter we love to see between this father-in-law – daughter-in-law duo. The said video that was taken two years ago, has however, currently started trending on social media, with a few fan clubs even sharing it on their Instagram pages.

For the uninitiated, Amitabh Bachchan won the Stardust Star of the Year Award [Male] for his role as Deepika’s father in Piku whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Power Packed performer of the Year award for her comeback film Jazbaa in 2015.
