Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are finally getting married. The wedding date is announced, invites sent and Anil Kapoor’s house has been transformed into a castle! Sonam’s mom Sunita is leaving no stone unturned to make her daughter dearest’s wedding special and memorable for the entire family. Sonam’s shaadi shenanigans have begun already and the festivities at the Kapoor house are in full swing. Cousins Arjun and Anshula Kapoor paid a visit yesterday and posted a hilarious video from the venue. Well, Arjun is seen telling Sonam how he feels like he is in the real Veere Di Wedding and there is a bout of laughter from the other end. Anshula is seen frolicking around in the room surveying all the wedding prep. One look and you will realise that Sonam’s room totally looks like a total shaadi wala ghar. We can’t wait to get more details about the wedding.
There is a paparazzi in front of Sonam’s house and parents Sunita and Anil Kapoor have urged media to respect that they need privacy as it is an intimate function with close knit family. Despite this, Kapoors have been very kind to all the photographers standing out the house in scorching heat. Sunita makes sure that they are looked after well and sends water, cold drinks and food packets to them on timely basis. Arjun Kapoor too was seen kindly handling the press. In fact, this gesture has prompted the media to show restraint while clicking Sonam and Anand in the house. Now, that’s really wonderful don’t you think?
Official festivities will begin on May 7 and 8th. The Mehendi ceremony will take place on May 7 at Bandra Kurla Complex and Anand Karaj ceremony will be held at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s opulent bungalow in Bandstand! The reception will be held on same day at The Leela Palace.
