In her words, she feels “the sense of independence, self-sufficiency, and responsibility” that comes with travelling. Talking about all things travel in a recent interview for Travel+Leisure Magazine cover story, Sonakshi revealed about her favorite destination that has had an impact on a personal level on her life. “Maldives - it's one place I go back to every year without fail,” Sonakshi shared. “It changed my life because my underwater experience started in the Maldives for the first time. And I just couldn't stop going back again and again.”

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha is currently working on Kakuda, a horror-comedy which follows a town trapped in time by a curse and 3 of its inhabitants face a ghost that makes them question superstition, tradition and love. She also has Double XL, a film about the journey of two plus-size women Rajshree Trivedi from Meerut and Saira Khanna from New Delhi as they navigate society's beauty standards. The film also stars Huma Qureshi in the lead role.
