en Bollywood News From Singham Again to Maidaan: 5 Ajay Devgn movies lined up for release in 2024

The 5 releases Ajay Devgn has in 2024 are a mix of various genres.

The three prominent Khans – Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman – won’t have a single film releasing in 2024. However, that doesn’t mean that the year won’t have its share of highly anticipated films. Interestingly, out of all these awaited films, Ajay Devgn has not one or two but as many as five releases in 2024. On top of that, all the five films have no similarity between its themes and genres.

From Singham Again to Maidaan: 5 Ajay Devgn movies lined up for release in 2024

Here’s more about the 5 releases of Ajay Devgn in this year:

Shaitaan

One doesn’t often get to see big Bollywood actors in horror films. This will be Devgn’s second film in this genre after Ram Gopal Varma’s Bhoot. The teaser of Shaitaan has received a promising response. The film also has an interesting cast as Devgn is joined by R Madhavan and the south sensation Jyotika. Through Shaitaan, filmmaker Vikas Bahl will be venturing into the horror space for the first time. The film will be releasing in theatres on March 8.

Maidaan

After multiple delays, director Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s Maidaan is finally all set to release this year in April during Eid. The excitement for the film remains intact because it tells an interesting story about India’s former football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who took Indian football to newer heights. Hence, the audience will get to see the golden era of Indian football through this film. Maidaan also stars Priyamani and Gajraj Rao.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha

Two weeks after Maidaan, Ajay Devgn will be seen on screen again on April 26 in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film is touted to be a romantic thriller with a dose of action. Along with its subject, the presence of Devgn and an intriguing title, the film is keenly awaited also because of the actor’s first collaboration with the celebrated filmmaker Neeraj Pandey. Plus, the film’s music is composed by the Oscar-winning composer M M Keeravani.

Singham Again

This Rohit Shetty venture is one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year. It’s a part of a successful franchise after Singham and Singham Returns. It’s also the next film in Shetty’s successful cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Apart from Ajay Devgn, Singham Again also has an ensemble cast of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor, along with cameos from Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh as Simmba. The film will be released on India’s Independence Day on August 15. It will clash with another biggie in the form of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Raid 2

Filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid, which released in 2018, was not only an intriguing dramatic thriller but also an entertaining flick. It told the story of an honest Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik who stops at nothing when it comes to putting the corrupt behind bars. The film saw him pitted against a corrupt politician, played by Saurabh Shukla. Raid 2 will see Devgn at loggerheads with the antagonist played by Riteish Deshmukh. The film, which also stars Vaani Kapoor, is all set to release on November 15.
