Reports, last week, were abuzz with news about the ‘royal’ wedding of Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. After a dreamy wedding, the couple decided to celebrate their wedding in a grand manner in the maximum city by hosting a reception for the film fraternity at St. Regis in South Mumbai on Sunday, February 12. While the wedding saw only a few celebrities like Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla attend the ceremony, the reception was, in fact, a starry affair with many from the industry gracing the reception.

One of the first guests to attend the grand reception was Abhishek Bachchan. Followed by him, and post the grand entrance of the couple of the evening, the power couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol too graced the red carpet of the event. The bash turned even more glitzy with the entry of celebs like Alia Bhatt, her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, Ishaan Khatter, among others.

Kareena Kapoor Khan came hand-in-hand with Karan Johar, who also played a key role in making Sid and Kiara meet each other. Rohit Shetty, Bhumi Pednekar, Disha Patani, were among the few late-arrivers. Varun Dhawan with wife Natasha Dalal, Riteish Deshmukh with wife Genelia D'Souza, the 'queen' Gauri Khan, and Ranveer Singh have also arrived at the event.

Readers would be aware that Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot at Suryagarh hotel, Jaisalmer in an intimate but lavish ceremony. After completing the pre-wedding and other festivities in Rajasthan, the couple took off to Delhi where they completed the post-wedding rituals at the Malhotra residence. The couple also hosted a small reception in the capital at the Leela Palace for their friends and relatives in the city before returning to Mumbai for the starry wedding celebration night.
