As the season 2 of Aspirants is set to immerse the audience once again into the world of UPSC aspirants, Naveen Kasturia returns to the screen reprising his role as Abhilash Sharma. In season 2, Abhilash Sharma, played by Naveen Kasturia, prepares for the 5th decisive phase of his Civil Service Exam, which unfolds in the past timeline. In the present day, he held the role of District Magistrate, driven by a strong vision to contribute to the nation's improvement. However, it's this very vision that begins to strain his friendship, setting the stage for the progression of the story.

Naveen Kasturia expressed his thoughts on the patriotic themes within Aspirants Season 2, “The second season carries a strong patriotic essence. The larger picture is that my character aspires to contribute to our nation. While it may not appear obvious since the series revolves around friendship, Season 2 isn't solely focused on motivating UPSC aspirants; rather, my character's aspirations are cantered on making a meaningful impact on our country.”

Kasturia's connection with the character and storyline went beyond the set, as he revealed, “As I commuted to the shooting locations in Central Delhi for a period of two months, a profound sense of duty towards my country began to resonate within me. This sentiment genuinely became a part of my personal journey. I even reached out to a friend, inquiring about potential ways to contribute, and I was advised that I could explore opportunities within the defense sector. It was an incredibly surreal experience, as my portrayal in the reel world was profoundly shaping my real-life persona, instilling within me a deep and genuine sense of patriotism.”

Aspirants Season 2 is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime on October 25, 2023.
