Being one of the most beloved couples at the start of their careers, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan left many disappointed when they parted ways by the end of the decade. The actors decided to move on with Kareena finding love in Tashan co-actor Saif Ali Khan and Shahid settling in an arranged marriage with Mira Rajput. Although both the actors have refrained from making comments on each other, Shahid recently showcased his respect towards the actress and appreciated her craft.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, as Shahid Kapoor opened up about many things, he was asked about the one thing he would like to steal from Kareena Kapoor Khan or rather imbibe it from her. The actor responded to it saying, “I don’t know, I think she always had a superstar quality right from her first film. So, I think that was special about her.”
Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan have acted in several films together before they broke up which includes Fida, 36 China Town, Milenge Milenge, Chup Chup Ke, and Jab We Met. Post that, the actors did feature in the film Udta Punjab (2016) but did not share screen space together.
Furthermore, he was also asked about his equation with Saif Ali Khan. When the actor was asked what would he say to Saif if he meets him, Shahid went on to answer, “I don't know. I guess we will say, 'Hi'. We used to go to the same gym. We have done a movie together." For the unversed, Shahid and Saif did the film Rangoon alongside Kangana Ranaut in 2017.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of Bloody Daddy, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it is slated to release on Jio Cinemas on June 9. The film is a remake of the 2011 French action thriller Sleepless Nights.
