Shaheer Sheikh says ‘it is too early to comment’ on whether wife Ruchikaa Kapoor is pregnant : Bollywood News

Actor Shaheer Sheikh had appeared in some of the most popular shows on Indian television including Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Kuch Rang PyarKe Aise Bhi and Mahabharat. Shaheer is one of those celebrities who is quite private about his married life. The actor married his long time girlfriend Ruchikaa Kapoor last year in a court.

Now in an interview with a tabloid, Shaheer opened up about his decision to opt for a court marriage, cancelled marriage plans, his life post marriage and reports about the expecting a baby soon. Shaheer revealed he planned a grand reception for his wedding in June 2021 after opting for a court marriage last year. Shaher confirmed that the reception has now been cancelled due to the pandemic and also he has lost two close relatives, who lived in Jammu, to COVID-19.

When asked about his life post marriage, Shaheer said that he and Ruchikaa have entered a new phase of life and he is learning new things every day and taking up new responsibilities. The actor further also said he is learning to share his space with someone now as he lived alone for many years in Mumbai. Not just that, he also enjoys cooking for his wife. The actor also revealed that he and Ruchikaa are moving to a new home, so the last few months they have been spent doing it up. Shaheer said that he believes in living a simple, minimalistic life, and it is a modest house and not something gigantic.

As the rumours are rife about Shaheer and Ruchikaa expecting their first baby, when asked about the same, he said it is too early to comment.

On the work front, Shaheer is expected to appear in the third season of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi opposite Erica Fernandes.
