Serious Men director Sudhir Mishra speaks about Nawazuddin Siddiqui; says, “He just hands himself over to you” : Bollywood News

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is widely known for his versatility. He has collaborated with a bunch of notable filmmakers for various projects; one of them is Sudhir Mishra. For the unversed, Nawaz and Sudhir worked together for a Netflix original, titled Serious Men. While recalling the same, Sudhir opened up about his experience of working with Nawaz on the 2020 release.

The notable director said “How was it working with Nawaz, it was very good. When I worked with Nawaz in Serious Men, I had a wonderful experience. He just hands himself over to you and he is this perfect.” When Siddiqui was promoting Serious Men, in many of his interviews, he mentioned that he had done nothing, whatever Sudhir asked him to do, he did.

Adding further on the same note, Mishra asserted, “It's right to an extent but that's wrong because he is handing himself to me with all that talent. So when I tell him something, it goes through that talent, through that skill set and emerges. He is not consciously doing it but it's amazing to see him work. Success has not made him lazy. He still puts in a lot of work.”

Recently, the first look of Siddiqui's upcoming film Haddi was unveiled and it took the internet by storm. Fans are overwhelmed by the actor’s transformation. For the unversed, he will be seen playing a role of a transgender. An insider revealed that Nawaz takes about four good hours to get ready for his character in Haddi.

Apart from Haddi, the 48-year-old actor has an interesting lineup of films which includes Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehra, and Adbhut among others. While Tiku Weds Sheru is touted to be a dark humour love story, Noorani Chehra will be directed by Navaniat Singh. Meanwhile, Adbhut, the Sabir Khan directorial, will also feature Shreya Dhanwanthary and Diana Penty.
