Actor Sara Ali Khan, who was recently in Varanasi for a shooting schedule, also had a great time walking through the lanes of the old city and visiting the market places. She also attended the famous Ganga Arti, and offered 'Sparsh Darshan' (touch and worship) to the deity.
While she shared happy videos from her trip on Instagram, Kendriya Brahmin Masasabha is not pleased with her. At the temple entrance, an order asking non-Hindus to not enter the temple is reportedly affixed. The organization’s secretary Dinesh Tiwari, speaking to a leading daily, said it was an objectionable act from Sara's end, and that this was also the temple authority's failure to maintain the Sanatan tradition. He also added that the senior members of the body would soon gather and discuss the issue.
In the video shared by Sara, she turned a tour guide for us as she introduced us to sweet shops and bangle shops among others. In another video, she and mother Amrita Singh were both engrossed witnessing the beautiful Ganga arti.
The actor, who recently wrapped filming of Coolie No. 1, is now working on Atrangi Re, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
