Nana Patekar, Kubbra Sait, Kranti Prakash Jha, director Prakash Jha, producer Dishaa Jhaa along with Girish Prabhu (Head - Amazon Ads India), Karan Bedi (Head - Amazon MX Player), Aruna Daryanani (Director - Amazon MX Player), and Amogh Dusad (Head of Content - Amazon MX Player) attended the launch of the trailer of their upcoming web series, Sankalp, in Mumbai. As expected, Nana Patekar took the cake with his replies. He and Prakash Jha’s banter was the highlight of the event.
Nana Patekar said, “In Sankalp, I was signed for two roles by Prakash Jha – one for acting and one for cooking for everybody! I used to cook food for the whole unit after pack-up. I anyway love cooking.”
He added, “We were all very happy during the shoot. When we used to return to the hotel after completing the shoot, I used to cook to get rid of all the tension that someone used to give to me (points at Prakash Jha).”
Nana then told Prakash Jha, “So, thank you for giving me tension!” The filmmaker also quipped, “Acting nahin karega toh tu khana toh banayega!”
Nana Patekar continued, “I told him, ‘If there's no role for me in your project, at least you can hire me to cook for the unit’!”
He also hinted, “Prakash and I are planning one more project together.”
At another point during the event, Nana Patekar also revealed, “Even when we fight and I say some incorrect word, he would say 'Bilkul theek hai Nana lekin yeh lafz aise bolo'! That leads to another fight!”

Meanwhile, the mediapersons present were distraught as the event started two hours late. The last time Nana Patekar appeared at an event – the trailer launch of O'Romeo – he walked off due to the immense delay. Thankfully, the actor didn’t do so this time.
