Actress Rubina Dilaik, who is all set to welcome twins with her husband, actor Abhinav Shukla, recently revealed that she had met with a car accident during the initial months of her pregnancy. Sharing her ordeal in her latest vlog, Rubina recounted the terrifying incident that took place in July 2023 when she was in her first trimester.

The actress was returning home after a routine check-up when a truck rammed into her car from behind. "I was not prepared. It came like a shock, and I hit the front seat," she recalled. The impact was so severe that Rubina hit her back on the seat she was sitting in and then her head on the seat in front of her.

"I remember that day so well that I still get goosebumps. I was so petrified, so terrified, not for myself, of course, for these two new lives growing inside me," Rubina shared. "That experience I really cannot express in words, the amount of fear that I had; it felt like hell broke loose. That was my worst nightmare."

Following the accident, Rubina and Abhinav immediately rushed to the hospital for an emergency sonography. It was only after undergoing all the necessary tests and scans that Rubina was able to calm down. "That day I realised how precious life is, and how much more precious it becomes when you're carrying two more lives inside you. I felt so blessed and grateful that the babies were safe," Rubina expressed.
