Rohit Shetty on Singham Again, “It’s 10X bigger than Sooryavanshi, Ranveer Singh had goosebumps after the narration” 10 : Bollywood News

Director Rohit Shetty started his cop universe with Ajay Devgn starrer Singham, which was released in 2011. Later, the director added Singham 2, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi to the series. During the trailer launch of his next film, Cirkus, Rohit Shetty had briefly spoken about Singhan Again, which will be the third instalment of the Singham franchise. Recently, while shedding some light on the forthcoming film, Rohit stated that Singham Again will be ten times bigger than the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi.

It all happened when the director, along with the cast members of Cirkus, attended a show by Pinkvilla. Shetty told the portal, “We are very excited for Singham Again because the script has turned out really well. It is larger than life. We took it to a different level in Sooryavanshi and this is like 10 times bigger than Sooryavanshi. The kind of scripting that has happened and the kind of story it is… it’s something.”

He further added, “Like when I narrated it to Ranveer, he had goosebumps. The story gives you a high. I get excited about a film very rarely and Singham Again is that one script after so many years that I am excited to start the film.”

When asked if Ranveer Singh will be a part of Singham Again, Rohit asserted, “Yes, Ranveer is also in the film.” Speaking of the narration of Singham Again, Ranveer added, “I have taken the entire narration in my van and I was on my feet clapping. The kind of moments he described; my mind was just racing forward picturising what the scenes in the cinema halls will be when those moments unfold in Singham Again. It will be pandemonium in the halls with the kind of stuff that he has planned.”

Upon this, Pooja Hegde also talked about her excitement for Singham Returns. She said, “My father has a Singham tattoo.” She is quick to add, “I remember watching Simmba in PVR and when Singham’s entry happened, PVR had turned into Gaiety Galaxy (theatres from Mumbai’s iconic G7 multiplex). We were whistling and screaming out loud. I can’t wait for Singham Again.”

Coming back to Cirkus, the comedy movie is slated to release on December 23.
