With only a few days left before the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are leaving no stone unturned in terms of promotions. Helmed by Karan Johar, the makers have already unveiled three songs from the film – ‘Tum Kya Mile’, ‘What Jhumka’ and ‘Ve Kamaleya’. The duo reached Kolkata on Monday to unveil the fourth song ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’.

Centered on sindoor khela which means 'vermillion game', it is a festival celebrated amongst Bengalis where women smear each other with sindoor on Vijayadashami, which is the last day of the Durga Puja. The song focuses on the festival where Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt groove to the beats of the song. Sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi, the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is by Pritam. Choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, the song features some foot-tapping beats, groovy choreography and classical moves as well. It focuses on the celebration of love amid the rebellion against Ranveer’s character Rocky Randhawa’s family played by Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Bashir and Kshitee Jog. Anjali Anand also joins the dance towards the end of the song.

Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta is all set to hit the big screen on July 28, 2023.
