Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which released last week, has been loved for several reasons. One memorable scene in the film is the kiss shared by Dhramdendra and Shabana Azmi. Dharmendra was asked about it at the press conference of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani today. The answer given by the veteran star brought the house down.

Dharmendra begun by praising director Karan Johar, “Captain ne sab kuch bata diya tha. Captain accha ho toh team khoob khelti hai!”

He continued, “I have worked in several films, at times for money or to help somebody. When I heard the story of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, maine kaha ki yeh ghar ghar ki kahaani hai.”

He also said, “Ranveer Singh is a very good actor and a very emotional person. Aur kya kahoon main. Abhi toh shehar mein nahin, duniya mein charcha hai ki Rocky Aur Rani ka...kuch toh hai!”

Alia Bhatt burst out laughing at this statement. Realizing his quote can be interpreted differently, Dharmendra clarified, “Picture ki baat kar raha hoon main!”

At this point, Ranveer Singh told Dharmendra that he should visit cinema halls to check the crazy audience reaction during his kissing scene. Dharmendra said, “I couldn't go to the theatres. I got a lot of messages for (the kissing scene). I told them, 'Yeh toh mere daayein haath ka kaam hai! Baayein haath se karwana ho toh woh bhi karwa lo!'" As expected, mediapersons couldn't stop clapping at this point.

Dharmendra wasn't done. He revealed, “Karan told me, 'Aap jo hai, wohi rehna (film mein)'. Main sochta raha!” An embarassed Karan Johar quipped, "Why are you disclosing these private talks!"

Dharmendra again talked about the kissing scene and said, “Mujhe bhi jab mauka milta hai, chhakka maar deta hoon!”
