Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is creating the right kind of noise and receiving positive word of mouth from both critics and audiences. The family entertainer marks filmmaker Karan Johar’s 25th year as a filmmaker. With the film collecting Rs. 45.90 crore in its opening weekend in theatres, the cast and the director are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from the audience and the industry alike. Celebrating the movie, Alia shared a photo of Ranveer and Karan.

On the day of the film’s release, Karan Johar hosted an intimate gathering at his residence and invited a few of his friends to celebrate the film which marks his 25^th year as a director. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were in attendance at the celebration. On Monday, the actress took to Instagram to share a photo with Ranveer and Karan and wrote, “Love hain toh sab hain!!! From the bottom of our hearts .. thank you for all the love.. eternally grateful! Love, Rocky, Rani and our maker of this Kahaani. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani.”

The film stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhary and Churni Ganguly.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is yet to announce his following projects but he is reportedly starring in the third instalment of Don franchise which will be a reboot. He has also signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra alongside Alia Bhatt. Both projects are yet to be announced.

Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, will next star in Heart of Stone which marks her Hollywood debut. The actress has also signed YRF’s female-driven spy movie. She also has another Dharma Productions’ in the works with Vasan Bala. The actress is reportedly in talks to star in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor and Yash.

On the other hand, Karan Johar will direct an action movie next for Dharma Productions. He is yet to announce the cast of the film.
