Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund that was released in theatres on March 4, 2022, is being applauded all over. Directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Bhushan Kumar, this film outshines and showcases the true Jhund-work/ teamwork that has gone into creating this masterpiece. The film is a unique sports drama that showcases the game of life. Days after the release of the film, actor Riteish Deshmukh took to his social media handle to praise the film.

Riteish shared a picture of himself posing in front of the poster of the film and in his tweet urged all to go watch the film in theatres. "Please do yourself a favour and watch #Jhund on the big screen," he wrote.

"@Nagrajmanjule is the bestest director in the country- he makes you cry, cheer, feel the pain, the euphoria and most importantly he makes you think of two Indias divided by a compound wall," he wrote.

In another tweet, Riteish wrote, "@SrBachchan Sir, you are so so awesome in the movie. Your silences speak volumes. It’s a joy seeing you on screen in this avatar."

Elaborating further, he ended the tweet with, "Every actor is pitch-perfect, kudos to the casting team. @AjayAtulOnline have hit this one out of the park - Wakada Tikada - hit #BhushanKumar."

Ahead of the film's release, actors Aamir Khan and Dhanush had also attended a special screening of the film and could not stop praising Jhund. Aamir also teared up after watching the film and had invited the cast of the film to his house to discuss the film.
