Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has constantly made headlines. Post the release of a fun-filled trailer, a week ago, the makers dropped the first song, ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’. While the song started trending, Shraddha Kapoor kickstarted a trend on social media. After Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor, now B-Town’s favourite couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza have also hopped on the trend.

On Tuesday evening, Riteish took to his verified Instagram handle and shared a video featuring Genelia. Meanwhile, the first track of TJMM can be heard in the background. Riteish enters the frame while lip-synching on the song, and as soon as ‘Bheege Bheege’ comes Genelia throws water on his face leaving him speechless. Captioning the video, Deshmukh hashtagged the title of the song, and further wrote, “since 21 years.”

Within an hour it bagged more than 400k views and thousands of likes. The comments section was flooded with laughing emoticons. Reacting to the video, an Instagram user quipped, “Epic,” while another commented, “love your creativity,” followed by red-heart and fire emojis.

As mentioned earlier, Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also participated in the trend, while the former flaunted his hair calling them his “pyaar”, Alia shared a video of herself working out and sweating.

Speaking of the trend, it has indeed become a rage on social media with many fans and followers of Shraddha recreating their own versions of the reel. Talking about the song, the fresh chemistry between the duo Ranbir-Shraddha on the streets of Spain, the love-filled verses sung by Arijit Singh, and the picturesque location, everything about ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ has been immensely loved and adored by the audience.

Directed by Luv Ranjan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is all set to have a festive release worldwide in cinemas on Holi, March 8, 2023.
