Bollywood veteran actors Hema Malini and Asha Parekh along with actresses Kajol and Raveena Tandon came together on the first death anniversary of the singer Lata Mangeshkar. The Bharat Ratna award recipient passed away on February 6, 2022.
Raveena Tandon shared a series of photos on Instagram and wrote, “All about tonight! Legends in honour of Lata Mangeshkarji, Asha Parekh ji, Hema ji.” Hema Malini and Asha Parekh were seated on the chair. While former wore a green silk saree, whereas the latter donned a black saree. Kajol wore a green silk kurta whereas Raveena wore an ivory outfit.

Lata Mangeshkar was considered one of the iconic stars in the music industry of all time. She recorded songs in over a thousand Hindi films and crooned in over thirty-six Indian languages and foreign languages. She was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1989. In 2001, she was conferred with the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.
Lata Mangeshkar is the recipient of three National Film Awards, several Filmfare Awards, and more. In 1974, she became the first Indian to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, in London.
