In 2012, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal got to know one another on the shoot of their movie Fukrey. Richa and Ali, who both portrayed quite the opposite characters in the movie, got along well because of their shared traits outside of work and now they are finally getting married. Their lovely pre-wedding celebrations have brought the pair closer to their wedding day. On October 4, 2022, the couple will exchange vows in front of their loved ones and close friends after dating for almost a decade. Their approach to their wedding has been interesting because they are taking to Instagram to share the momentous occasion with the world, in contrast to other celebrity weddings staying a pipe down affair. It's clear from a glimpse of their idyllic pre-wedding festivities that the couple chose impeccable sartorial ensembles, with the future bride commanding all of our attention.

Richa Chadha was a sight to behold in her sangeet ensemble wearing a custom Rahul Mishra lehenga set, for her cocktail look, the actor revealed her in a timeless gold sari doused in sequins. Up till now, Richa Chadha and Ali’s wedding palette has incorporated light-coloured pastel hues for her wedding nuptials and once again couple opted for a subtle hue colour palette for an event in Lucknow. The couple flew down to Lucknow where an evening affair was hosted by Ali’s family in the name of Richa. The evening began with an energy packed Qawwali performance by the Sabri Brothers of Rajasthan. The decor was in compliments to the Avadhi Lucknowi culture with golden custom made drapes, chandelier candle holders. The food was meticulously prepared by Lebua, a heritage family run hotel in centre of Lucknow with special dishes being prepared by Mahmoodabadi, another traditional family run catering company that honours cuisine peculiar to the region.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal look their elegant best in their couture wear designed by ace designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The star couple can be seen twinning and winning in the stunning pictures. Richa Chadha wore a white sharara set that she accentuated with statement jewellery. Ali Fazal complemented her in a matching sherwani, designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Adding their wedding hashtag #RiAli, Ali Fazal wrote: "Ek Daur hum bhi hain. Ek silsila tum bhi ho." Richa Chadha, sharing the pictures, wrote: "I got you."

Richa and Ali have been sharing pictures from their pre-wedding festivities on social media. From their sangeet to their cocktail party, the fans have gotten a glimpse of their wedding celebrations through their Instagram accounts. Couple is set to get married on October 4.
