Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are indeed in a happy space these days as the couple is finally just a few days away from being hitched. Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, whose wedding got delayed for over 2 years owing to the pandemic, are all set to finally tie the knot after dating for a long time. The duo is leaving no stone unturned to turn this landmark moment into something extremely memorable. Richa and Ali were recently spotted at the Mumbai Airport as they jetted off to Delhi for their pre-wedding festivities. It was a total filmy affair at actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s sangeet ceremony, which kicked off their weeklong wedding celebrations on Thursday night. Now, the bride-to-be has shared a sneak peek of her Mehendi as she kick-starts functions ahead of her wedding with her long-time boyfriend Ali Fazal.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have made it official. The couple formalised their union two and half years ago, and are now celebrating their union with friends and family. The wedding festivities have kicked off and the images are out now. They look adorably in love. And the first images are a testimony as they look love struck. Richa Chadha looks stunning in a custom-made outfit by Rahul Mishra and Ali Fazal in angrakha by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla. Richa's lehenga was a true expression of her love for the nature. She chose a pink blouse with off-shoulder sleeves. The embellishments on Richa's blouse are 3-D lotus petals, significantly emphasising the bustier and adorning the full flare with subtle details. She completed her appearance with a tulle dupatta and a beautiful lehenga in related pink hues. The attire is a stunning choice for pre-wedding events. We adore this outfit's colours, minimal design, and youthful appearance.

Richa also shared images of her her unique mehndi design. A lotus flower design has been made on Richa’s palm, which makes her full hand look beautiful. Richa has got the first letter of her and Ali’s name written in the middle of the palm.

Richa and Ali have chosen a friend's home with sprawling lawns for their mehendi and sangeet ceremonies. The place also has the value of nostalgia as it is close to where Richa studied. Speaking about the decor of their pre-wedding festivities, it will be heavily inspired by nature with elements including wood, florals and jute.

Earlier in the day, they shared an audio note ahead of their wedding celebrations. However, in the voice clip, they shared that they had formalised their union in 2020.

Ali and Richa took to their Instagram, where they shared the voice note along with a throwback picture featuring the two. In the audio note Richa is heard saying: "Two years ago we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all, pressing a pause button on our celebrations and life."

Ali is then heard saying: "Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love. Thank you."

For unversed, Richa and Ali, who have been dating for a really long time, were originally meant to be wedded in April 2020, but owing to covid restrictions, the wedding was positioned twice. The two reportedly met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012 for the first time. The two will soon be seen sharing screen once again in the third instalment of the Fukrey franchise.
