Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor turn showstoppers for the soirée hosted by Ambassador of France : Bollywood News

Ahead of the worldwide release of Befikre in December, in collaboration with Yash Raj Films, H.E. Mr Alexandre Ziegler, Ambassador of France to India, co-hosted a very special soirée to celebrate the film along with Ms Sanya Dhir, Creative Director of the Yash Raj fashion label DIVA’NI, at the Residence of France in New Delhi.

The lead actors of the Befikre, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor turned showstoppers for the same. Their upcoming rom-com has a close connection with Paris, not just because of its theme but also because it has been entirely shot in the French capital. The soiree kept the Parisian spirit of the film alive which is all about celebrating sensual carefree love.

Talking about the film, Ambassador of France, H.E. Mr Alexandre Ziegler said, “I’m thrilled to host a soirée to celebrate Befikre in the presence of talented stars, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, and congratulate them warmly for their performance. Befikre makes the most of the stunning locales oﬀered by France, highlighting why, year after year, it’s the world’s top tourist destination as well as a favourite for romantic holidays and film shoots. I’m delighted that Befikre was shot almost entirely in France and availed of the French Film Commission’s excellent incentives. I wish to extend invitation to Indian film makers to come and shoot their films in France.”

Befikre brings forth a feisty tale of romance between two different personalities – a quintessential Delhi boy Dharam (Ranveer Singh) who comes to Paris for work in search of an adventure and the wild, free spirited, French born Indian girl Shyra (Vaani Kapoor). The film is slated to release on December 9.
