Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has created a buzz among fans with its intense teaser and catchy songs. In a recent interview, Ranbir shed light on his character in the film, highlighting its similarities and differences with the infamous protagonists of Vanga's previous films, Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh. He also expressed his excitement about the film's captivating narrative.

During a conversation with Variety, Ranbir clarified that his decision to join Animal was not solely driven by the success of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh. Instead, he was drawn to the film's unique and intense story that captivated him from the outset. While he acknowledged the impact of Vanga's previous works, he stated that his involvement in Animal was primarily inspired by the script's originality and potential.

As the conversation progressed further, the 41-year-old actor also drew parallels between his character in Animal and Vanga's previous protagonists. "My character in Animal shares some traits with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's protagonists. He is indeed tough and uncompromising in certain aspects," Ranbir said. "But he is also multi-dimensional and complex, with moments of vulnerability and internal conflict that make him more relatable and human."

"I was really drawn to the script of Animal," he explained. "It's a gripping and intense film that delves into the depths of human emotions and relationships. It explores the complexities of life and the choices we make, with a narrative that keeps you on the edge of your seat."

For the unversed, Animal is slated to release on December 1. Besides Kapoor, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The makers will be releasing the trailer tomorrow, that is November 23.
