Renowned Indian actress Rakul Preet Singh recently wed Jackky Bhagnani in a private ceremony that was a stunning celebration of love. The couple, who never hid their relationship, delighted fans and followers by announcing their union. With the captivating photos from Rakul's mehendi ceremony, the newlyweds have now provided a glimpse inside their pre-wedding celebrations. With elaborate henna designs adorning her hands and arms, Rakul Preet Singh looked stunning in her mehendi ceremonial dress. The actress dressed in a colourful, traditional outfit that went well with the happy mood of the event.

Against the picturesque view of the Goan sunset, Rakul and Jackky's wedding festivities were nothing less than pure magic. The couple hosted a mehendi and picked outfits from the shelves of ace designer Arpita Mehta. In a beautiful fusion ensemble, actress Rakul Preet made a chic case for occasional fits. She looked radiant as ever in an orange printed skirt and stunning hand-embroidered blouse in peppy orange and red tones. The intricate embroidery work took a total of 680 hours to complete. The lehenga features phulkari-inspired embroidery using a combination of pink-orange sindhoori thread mixed with golden Kasab and cutdana, along with mirrorwork, adding a touch of opulence and cultural richness to Rakul's attire.

The outfit designed for Rakul is a toasted orange and pink ensemble, adorned with geometric floral phulkari motifs, characteristic of this traditional art form. The centerpiece of the ensemble is an elaborate hand-embroidered cape, complemented by a corset blouse and a pleated skirt, all meticulously crafted to showcase a blend of classic traditions and modern silhouettes.

According to designer, “Our intention was to create a stunning ensemble perfect for a mehendi ceremony, infusing the richness of our heritage with contemporary flair. We dedicated months to perfecting this custom look, meticulously sampling embroideries, and conducting mock trials to ensure every detail was flawless”.

“To complement the outfit, we designed custom Arpita Mehta x SKO mules with kitten heels. Going for a traditional styling approach, we opted for a long braid adorned with polki motifs hair pins, a floral veil wrapped around it, a floral mang tikka, and stunning paasa-style polki and pearl earrings.

This outfit not only celebrates Rakul's heritage but also showcases craftsmanship and innovation, making it a truly unique and memorable creation for her special occasion."

Rakul Preet chose ornate Jhaalar dangler earrings instead. Her tasteful and understated mehendi was matched with a flowery maang tikka that matched the earrings. The joyful bride opted for a natural look with orange lip tint and center-part tresses tied in a braid, keeping her makeup and hair simple.

The beautiful bride was complemented by her happy husband Jackky, who chose a kurta from Kunal Rawal's stores. He coordinated his look with brown leather shoes and sunglasses.
