Love and joy were in the air as Bollywood stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacky Bhagnani sealed their commitment to each other in a splendid wedding ceremony held in the picturesque coastal haven of Goa. Surrounded by close friends and family, the couple embarked on a new chapter of their lives, exchanging vows in a celebration that radiated warmth, love, and glamour. The wedding took place at a luxurious beachfront resort in Goa, setting the stage for a dreamy and intimate affair. The couple chose Goa for its serene beaches, lush greenery, and vibrant atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for their special day. The star-studded celebration was attended by a host of celebrities from the film industry, including close friends and family members. The guest list featured some of the biggest names in Bollywood, adding an extra touch of glitz and glam to the festivities.
Rakul has frequently served as Tarun Tahiliani's muse, thus it was expected that she would choose the designer for her own wedding. Her stunning blush pink lehenga bore the designer's elegantly embroidered flower design language. One of the striking aspects of Rakul Preet Singh's bridal ensemble was her finely hand-embroidered lehenga, which had three-dimensional floral designs in shades of blush and ivory. Delicate tulle sleeves embellished with crystals and graded pearls adorned her blouse. The structured tulle veil was adorned with Swarovski crystals and stars that cascaded like flowers. Singh intended for Tarun Tahiliani's version to incorporate a contemporary story into the work while paying homage to whimsical floral tales.
Rakul, who champions the less-is-more movement, wore minimum glam and embraced the nude look on her wedding day. Her pastel pink Tarun Tahiiani Lehenga looked lovely with delicate pink monochromatic makeup. With a delicate application of blush pink makeup, nude pink lips, and kohl-lined eyelids to draw attention, she presents a picture of understated yet striking bridal beauty.
Rakul looked stunning in her pastel lehenga and custom jewellery, which was a marriage of elegance. The blouse's exquisite sweetheart neckline provided the ideal backdrop for an equally exquisite polki necklace. When she glances at Jacky, her smile is even more radiant than it was. The necklace looked great with her simple bridal ensemble when it was worn with matching earrings and a maang tikka.
Bhagnani, the groom, chose an ivory chikankari sherwani with the elaborate 'chinar' motif, which took an estimated six months to create. Tahiliani's signature pleated stole was also a part of the ensemble. With genuine zardozi from Tahiliani's design house and a variety of chikankari techniques using silk threads, every detail was painstakingly hand-embroidered. Tarun Tahiliani respected the workmanship in this masterpiece, drawing inspiration from the beauty, culture, and artistry of Kashmir.
