Actor and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt recently sent fans on a nostalgic trip after sharing a rare throwback photoshoot featuring superstar Aamir Khan from nearly three decades ago. The unseen pictures, posted on social media, instantly caught the attention of fans of the iconic romantic drama Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi, which brought the two actors together on screen in 1991.
While sharing the vintage photographs, Pooja Bhatt also hinted that the shoot carries an interesting untold story that she plans to reveal at a later stage. The actress recalled that the photographs were clicked at the home of celebrated photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha. “Someday I will share the story behind these impromptu photos shot on Gautam Rajadhyaksha's balcony, in his sprawling home on Hughes road. But not yet.. Not just yet,” Pooja wrote alongside the post. She further added, “Will ensure I jog Aamir's memory before that and delight @jiteshpillaai with the details (as promised) many moons ago.”
The post quickly sparked excitement among fans, especially those who continue to cherish Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi as one of Bollywood’s beloved cult romantic films. Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, the film starred Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles and went on to gain immense popularity for its emotional storyline, chemistry between the lead pair, and memorable soundtrack. Over the years, songs from the film have continued to remain popular among audiences.
