Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son Akash got engaged in a simple, low profile ceremony with only family attendance a couple of days ago in Goa. Post this, they visited the Siddhivinayak Temple and organised a function for all their friends and family at their residence. Bollywood stars close to the Ambanis made it to the gala event. Prominent celebs spotted at the party were Katrina Kaif, Kiran who came without Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan with Gauri, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Zaheer Khan-Sagarika Ghatge. By the looks of it, the party was a simple affair organised strictly for close friends and family.

While Shah Rukh Khan looked dapper in his trademark suit, Gauri also opted for an elegant black gown. Aishwarya looked radiant in a black gown with a ponging neckline while her daughter Aaradhya looked adorable in pink frock and ballerinas. Newlyweds Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge looked classy in their formal garb. Katrina Kaif channelled her inner princess with a gorgeous onion pink dress. Kiran Rao was also present. She went for a minimilastic skirt with a touch of shimmer and yellow jackets to colour block her look.

For the uninitiated, Akash Ambani (27) got engaged to Shloka Mehta, who is a daughter of diamantaire Russel and Mona Mehta, owners of Rosy Blue Diamonds. She studied with Akash at Dhirubhai International School and knew Ambanis since she was four. Akash and Shloka were dating for many years before getting hitched finally. Shloka has acquired a degree in masters in law and anthropology from London School Of Economics and is a founder of an NGO ConnectFor .
