Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the glory of the massive success that is Pathaan, his first lead role in four years. The film has been breaking box office records and has crossed Rs. 700 crores worldwide in just nine days. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham alongside Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia. As the film industry celebrates the megastar and the success of the film, Shah Rukh Khan once again hosted a question-and-answer session on social media and responded to fan tweets.

Theories have been rife on social media regarding John Abraham’s character Jim. The former operative turned terrorist dies towards the end of the movie during his face-off with Pathaan. He falls off a cliff, but netizens were quick to say that since this is a spy universe, anything can happen. His tattoo on the official poster read, “Everyone will come to my funeral to make sure I stay dead.”

When SRK was asked whether Jim is alive, he quipped, “I don’t know after dropping him I went straight for a shampoo…remember. #Pathaan.”

When a similar question was raised during an interview with Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand had said, “Anything can happen. It’s a universe and you can do anything with the characters – it’s a playground. You can have a prequel to Jim.. oh wait, what if Jim is not dead? What if there’s a harness that pulls a parachute?”

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is currently running in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has two more releases this year – Atlee Kumar’s Jawan releasing in June followed by Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in December.
