Pashmina Roshan opens up about living up to family legacy and Hrithik Roshan’s advice to her : Bollywood News

With the release of Ishq Vishk Rebound, actress Pashmina Roshan, daughter of music director Rajesh Roshan and cousin of Hrithik Roshan, will make her major Bollywood debut. During the Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar's song launch in Mumbai, Pashmina said while talking about her family, "The pride, the luck, their support and advice is what I’ve, but the pressure is to live up to their advice, to their (body of) work and make a place for myself in the industry and in the hearts of the audience."

“Unse (Hrithik) mujhe sirf unki advice hi nahin, unki mentorship bhi milti hai. What he tries to tell me all the time is aap jo kaam karr rahe ho, usme aap authenticity lao, apna 100 per cent do, if you do these two things, you’re set. This is the main advice he gives me again and again. Not just advice, I also get mentorship from him. He tells me all the time that no matter what I do I must bring in authenticity and give it my 100 per cent,” she further added elaborating on the advice she received from Hrithik Roshan who advised her to stay ‘authentic’ with her performance on screen.

Ishq Vishk Rebound, helmed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, is a follow-up to the 2003 film Ishq Vishk, starring Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao, and Shenaz Treasurywala. The movie chronicles around the lives of four young people who fall into a web of friendship, love, and self-awareness. However, the film's crew made it clear during the event that the movie is about Gen Z and is not reincarnation of the 2003 rom-com. With Tips Films Limited serving as the production company, Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani are producing the remake, the movie features Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan, Naila Grrewal, and Pashmina Roshan, and is scheduled to screen in theatres on June 28.
